I’m Melissa. Television is my passion. I especially love sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural shows, and really anything with a cult following. My dream is to one day create TV shows. Besides television, my other hobbies are writing, reading, and Photoshop. I consider myself a big fangirl, and a nerd, geek, dork, what have you. Evidence? I have a huge knowledge of obscure pop culture trivia, collect TV Guides, own what’s pretty close to a Jayne hat, have a bedroom plastered with Lord of the Rings posters and Lost articles cut out from magazines, and share a birthday with Fox Mulder. I have a shiny Toshiba laptop named Tobias, who runs Vista just fine. At school, I’m in the Gay Straight Alliance, the Astronomy Club, and the Twilight Club. (Yes, our school has a Twilight Club.) I’m shy, primarily because I don’t have many common interests with other people. I’m sweet, positive, and good-natured. I love talking to people with the same interests as me, namely people that watch the same shows that I do. I’m also looking for people to give me feedback on my stories.

One is under the working title The Corriander Conspiracies. It’s about Sam Corriander, or just Corr, a man whose whole life has been tainted by conspiracy, plots, and villainy. Everything that can happen to a person has happened to him. He becomes a private detective and tries to help people, break up webs of treachery, and take down the dark forces that have destroyed his life and his loved ones. He is joined by Leota, a death-obsessed doctor, Frankie, a caring and motherly single guy and his budding novelist niece Christie, an adorable gay couple named Marke and Ben, and disgruntled cop Henry Lawrence.
PLEASE check out the series journal at corrstories. I don't update it as much as I should, but I'm trying to get better at that.

The other story is called Partners. Anthony Green comes from a rich family, and spent his youth riding this wealth. He went from school to school, job to job, boyfriend to boyfriend. He grows tired of this, and, seeking purpose and fulfillment, he becomes a police detective. He’s partnered with Ryan Taylor, a friendly man and experienced and determined investigator. Taylor has a secretary, receptionist, and assistant, a young woman named Andie Lynn Lowling. She’s a hopeless romantic, and sees the attraction between Green and Taylor before they do. Think of it as a police drama crossed with a romantic comedy.

Those are the two main stories I’m working on, and I hope to turn them into television series’ one day.

I speak of my favorite television shows often, and while there are too many to list, my main favorites are The X-Files, Supernatural, Heroes, Lost, Firefly, House, and Arrested Development.

While I enjoy music, it's not something I'm really into. I love books, and there are some movies I like, but I'm mostly a TV person.

I don’t update my User Info very often, or my Interests list. If you really want to get to know me, looking at my journal is probably a better bet.
